Support Copper's Cat Commune Dec 7!
This Saturday is our community takeover! That means from 5 PM until close (midnight), all proceeds will be donated to a lucky, local charity! This year, we’ve decided to partner with Copper’s Cat Commune! Their mission is to provide lifetime care to ill, disabled or otherwise adoption challenged cats.
Matt and Mimi Baker, along with a strong supporting team of volunteers, care for up to 100 cats at any time! Copper’s is supported by kind donors, but they can’t do it alone. “Our fabulous donors keep the lights on and the food bowls full, but in rescue, tomorrow is never guaranteed.” (1) You can visit their website to donate or find other ways to get involved with this great cause!
While Mimi, Matt, and the volunteers do their best, the success of their mission depends on community support. Their website has some great ways to give, but dry and wet cat food is always in high demand. We’ve linked their Chewy and Amazon wishlists. If you have the means, please consider donating to this great cause. But if buying something off of a wishlist isn’t your vibe or you still need to do holiday shopping, stop by our store on Saturday evening, Dec. 7, and purchase something from us! All of the proceeds from 5 PM to close go directly to helping Copper’s Cat Commune!
We’ve been very lucky to have worked with Mimi and Matt in the past (and look forward to continued collaborations), and it’s always a treat. They are truly great people with hearts of gold! Check out Copper’s Cat Commune here!
