TCG Preorder Policies

With all the new sets releasing soon, we thought it would be a good time to review our preorder policies.

For sets we are accepting preorder requests for, the window opens 45 days before release and closes 15 days before release. We may close preorders early due to a variety of factors; including allocation limits, availability changes, high demand, and more. 

Select games have further preorder restrictions. For preorder requests concerning Gundam CCG, One Piece, Pokemon, or Riftbound, we will only accept requests made on the respective TCG weekly tournament nights with the TO; or manager/TO approval on non-tournament nights. Additionally, we will not accept requests over-the-phone, email, Discord, or Facebook Messenger. 

For all other games not listed above, pre-orders can be taken by any staff member at any time during the pre-order window. Requests via phone, email, Discord or Facebook Messenger are permitted.

We’ve created these policies to ensure everyone has a fair chance to open their favorite TCGs. You can read our complete policy here. 

Other important policies to note: 

• All other current policies remain valid and will be enforced for the benefit of our community.
• A Loyalty account is still required.
• Additional limitations, such as household restrictions or overall purchase limits, may be applied based on customer behavior and purchase history.

Policy Violations: If you are found to have violated any of the policies, including but not limited to purchasing multiples of restricted items or attempting to circumvent household or other limitations, you risk further restrictions on your account, up to and including a store ban from any current and future products and releases.

Employee Discretion: Employees of The Adventure Begins have the ability to exercise discretion within these rules, using their best judgment. Violations of this trust by customers will lead to appropriate consequences.

Placing a pre-order does not guarantee fulfillment. We will endeavor to honor all pre-orders, but supply limitations may affect our ability to do so.
