What’s Going on Around Us?

As the weather gets warmer and people get vaccinated for Covid, we should see an increase in the number of gatherings and activities in the community.  Participating in these activities is a great time to meet new neighbors, explore new shops and enjoy the nicer weather.   It is always a fabulous way to support your local community, too!  One new event just getting started in our area is The Woodlands Square Market on 1488.  Held twice a month from Jan-May (weather permitting), the market offers a place for local vendors to come together and provide products and services to the community.  And of course, we want to be a part of the fun! In January we did just that with an awesome Spider-Man visit to the market.  Yes, Spider-Man!!  We walked through the market, visiting patrons and stopping for photo ops with the webbed man himself.  Pretty cool to see Spidey roaming the streets checking out the booths, products, and food available.  We handed out bags of candy and fun info about our store while meeting a ton of new friends!  If you missed our visit, don’t despair.  We will be surprising patrons at the market again!  We will have giveaway bags and photo ops for all.  And if you watch for event announcements, you may get a chance to see Batman or Deadpool. So keep your eyes open for announcements about what date/time you can expect to see us again.  Make sure and check out FB and websites for further information about the market and visits from The Adventure Begins Comics, Games and More!
